Paul wrote his first letter to the people of Corinth with wisdom to tackle the unique challenges within their community. 1 Corinthians reminds us that, as followers of Jesus Christ, we are held to a high standard of integrity and morality as we represent Jesus to the world around us. We'll look at various life-challenges through the lens of how God wants us to live. Being a part of a diverse community, these truths bring Godly wisdom with a unifying focus.
Join us for a deeper dive as we follow Pastor Ken's Sunday morning passages and insight. During this series we'll share leadership within the group.

We'll be digging into the applicable scriptures behind each episode, with study and discussion surrounding the film.
Do you desire wisdom as life throws challenges along your way? Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline." We'll dovetail with Pastor Ken's insight into the book of Proverbs from Sunday mornings at West Van Baptist. Ken recommends that we fully read through Proverbs, which we'll do - along with discussion.
Plus, we'll review classroom-style teaching from reviveSCHOOL: "The Book of Proverbs is a brief collection of King Solomon’s WISDOM, which was his one request when God agreed to grant him whatever he asked (1 Kings 3:5-9). This book of practical and spiritual advice presents us with a choice to listen to either the voice of WISDOM or foolishness."
Join us as we do a deeper dive into the book of PROVERBS!

Where did we leave off? Ah, yes! Season 2 focused on preparations for Jesus' famous Sermon on the Mount. Despite Quintus warning Jesus not to bring attention to Himself, the last scene was Him stepping in front of 5,000 people that gathered far and wide to hear His words of wisdom.
With thousands of people and a long day of travel and teaching, what happens when the captivating day runs into meal time? We'll find out during Season 3 - with lots more to come. Don't miss it!
"Miracles are all around you" Ashley feels alone this Christmas as she searches fruitlessly for a job. But her neighbour, Nick, knows exactly what to do. He offers her a job as his assistant doing the best work possible - helping others. What's the catch? She can't tell anyone. When a nosy reporter takes interest, she struggles to keep Nick's secret while protecting her heart.
"The journey of a lifetime. A story for ALL time."
It was the cruelest of times. Under Herod's torturous reign, families struggled to survive, and yet in the midst of utter turmoil, a young woman's faith was put to the test. Join Mary and Joseph on an incredible journey of hope and discovery. "Epic in its' scope, yet intimate in its' portrayal of this historical family, this wonderful film is a family feature that will be cherished for years to come."
Each night features a film that will leave you yearning for more. We'll start with scripture that gives context and history to the film... afterward we'll study and discuss how it relates to us personally.
Season 2 starts just as Christ and the first disciples were leaving for Samaria, marking the beginning of Jesus' ministry. It will take us to Jesus' famous Sermon on the Mount speech that has gone on to be one of the centerpieces of His ministry. We'll be taken through several major events in the life of Jesus Christ... from parables to casting out the demon Legion from a possessed man, with added storylines to that help to emerge us into the period in history when The Son of Man came to earth.
We'll immerse ourselves in a biblical story that digs deeper into the extreme political world that Jesus was born into. Get to know the personal circumstances and struggles of His followers. Celebrate His healings and miracles. See Him through the eyes of those who knew Him. You will know Jesus more personally as the Bible comes to life!
Between 'The Chosen' seasons, we'll be exploring more about how Jesus' lived, through the eyes of historian Ray Vanderlaan (who has been a popular "20/20 teacher"). A HUGE Thank you! to Kathy for leading us through this video and study.
Do you ever feel like you are a follower of Jesus, but from a distance? "Follow a Rabbi, drink in his words, and be covered with the dust of his feet", says the ancient Jewish proverb. In Jesus' day, disciples followed their Rabbi so closely that they would be covered with the dust kicked up by the Rabbi's feet. Come, discover how you can get dusty and be closer to YOUR Rabbi, Jesus, by doing what He does.
Interactive sessions take you on a journey to the land and culture in which the disciples learned to follow Jesus:
When the Rabbi Says "Come"
When the Rabbi Says "Go"

Filmed on location in Israel, this unique video series brings God's Word to life with astounding relevance. By weaving together the Bible's fascinating historical, cultural, religious, and geographical contexts, teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan reveals unique insights into the Scriptures' significance for today's believers.
These illuminating "faith lessons" offer a new understanding of the Bible that will ground your convictions and transform your life.
